Progress monitoring, not another inbox.

Open Progress and see what the learning evidence shows. Your standards, scope and sequence, department alignment, evidence entry, proficiency scales, reports, and staff conversations remain part of the same workspace.

Select state or national standards for your class. Build a target with success criteria, a proficiency scale, planned evidence, and a review date. Published targets stay connected to your grade-team scope and sequence.

Record a comparable result with the conditions under which it was collected. Keep absence, invalid results, and missing work distinct from observed performance.

See one student clearly.

For an appropriate numeric measure, see the scores and goal line together. A trend appears when the measure’s approved count and duration requirements are met.

Four eligible observations on the unfavorable side of the goal line prompt review. Staff decide what the signal means and what to change.

Scan the class.

Read criterion distributions and compare the same learners across dated evidence. Open an individual trail to see the work behind a result.

Bring support back to the lesson.

Open issued team updates alongside your monitoring tools. Acknowledge the action, record delivery conditions, and return the next evidence to the original learning record. Include the student’s reflection in a reviewed report or conference.

EVIDENCE-INFORMED CHOICES

Decisions you can explain.

Use national resources from the What Works Clearinghouse, the National Center on Intensive Intervention, and the IRIS Center to examine instructional options. Review the age range, learning need, research strength, and conditions of use before choosing a response.

Progress records the educator’s response and review date. It does not automatically prescribe an intervention.
